Finarte, positive result for the first spring auction

Finarte spring sales opened Wednesday 11 May 2016 at the Permanente in Milan with very positive results for the Modern and Contemporary Art auction. The 76% of the lots was knocked down, for a total amount of approximately 1,2 million Euros (buyer premiums excluded). 

Italian Pop Art was protagonist in particular and Mario Schifano, Tano Festa and Giosetta Fioroni are the artists who gained the most interesting results, doubling the estimates with impressive bid increments. 

The spring auctions continues with the sales of Photography, Wednesday 8 June at 4 pm (preview Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 June, 10 am - 6 pm). The catalog includes about 100 pieces, ranging from contemporary or works or emerging proposals to historical work, from Giacomelli to Kiarostami.
